I work with Mark Singh at the Bristol Dermatology Center in theaters. I find Mark Sing to be a professional at his job, but comes though with a great sense of humor. Mark demonstrates great skill and empathy when dealing with patient undergoing surgery with local anesthetic. He establishes a good working relationship with junior Doctors of his team, and always praises them for their work. As a scrub nurse, I always found Mark to be courteous and always fines a good word for his team.

I was very impressed from our first meeting at the BRI. He is very easy to talk to and answered all questions in an informative and relaxed manner, putting me at my ease and explaining in detail the procedure I was to go through. Throughout the operation under local anaesthetic both he and his team kept me informed as to what they were doing and helped me to stay relaxed. Since the op' the follow up has been excellent and the care from both him at the start and then the CNS team has been first class in the twice weekly appointments. Many thanks to all concerned.

Mark was fine on the phone and the team under him that did the biopsy were great. But then nothing a telephone appt was made 3 weeks later and his dept ignored and when I called was given another one two weeks later, which was also ignored and when I called to complain I insisted that I was called back. An admin person called me and said that I was to get a letter detailing which cream to put on the area and that was it. So for 5 weeks I knew nothing of what the biopsy report was or what treatment to have. They didn't care. Sorry I gave the admin guy a hard time but he called me and said that it wasn't his job or medically qualified but it was a reply at least.

I am sorry you had this experience and feel this way. We will do our best to unsure this does not happen in future. Unfortunately, we are working through a very difficult time with the current pandemic. I am sure that you appreciate this situation. Fortunately, your condition has all settled without the need to bring you into the hospital. I am sure you appreciate that we minimised your exposure to coming to the hospital by using phone clinic and letters.

Mr Singh explained my procedure and made me feel at ease throughout the process. The same sentiments apply to all the administrative,nurses and anesthetic personnel. I can't add any improvement, totally satisfied and very grateful to all who treated me.

I met the team in the BRI when I fell and broke my jaw. Mr Singh was very supportive, gave clear explantions including risks and benefits of surgery. He was easy to talk to. He operated on my jaw and did a great job. He leads and excellent team. Dr Annie Pellatt (sho) met me in ED and sewed up my deep chin wound gently and neatly. She followed me throughout my stay, checking regulalry that all was going well. Dr Peter Glen (reg) was clear, unrushed and patient when going through the consent process with me. Dr Ayah (night doctor) was very reassuring when she checked on me in the ward pre-op and answered more questions for me. Dr Catherine Wicks (reg) visited pre-op and operated with Mr Singh, she visited regularly post op to check the site as well as offereing a lot of good clear advise on recovery. I saw her in outpatients post-op where she gave further advice and removed my sutures carefully. Thank you all!
